And yet we ask far too rarely...

Good morning busy friends!
Yesterday, I was on my walk with the dogs. Deeply immersed in my thoughts. Some would call it meditation.
I took a path that led me into an old oak forest. I rarely do this because of the brown bears in the area.
And I would never go without the dogs.
Walking through this dense forest, I observed the trees stand tall and almost proud. Their roots are deep in the earth. The picture made me think even more.
These trees, yet, don't grow strong and tall all by themselves.
They get help from the world around them. Rain gives them water to drink.
The sun gives them light to grow, and the soilweb with all the microbes nourishes their roots.
Now, think about a young sapling, a baby tree, just starting to grow in this huge forest.
Sometimes, a big storm comes, or it gets too shady, and the little sapling struggles to reach the sunlight.
But here’s the beauty of nature: older, taller trees and other plants around the sapling might shield it from the harsh wind. They might also share their space so the saplings can get some sunlight. The root system of the forest helps the sapling grow. Until it can stand tall on its own.
This is nature's way of showing us that even trees, which seem to stand all alone, need help from their friends.
We are also part of nature. And we're not as different as we think.
Like the trees in the forest, we, especially those of us running our businesses, sometimes find ourselves in need of a helping hand.
Trying to grow and succeed on our own can be tough. Exhausting.
Like a sapling trying to reach the sunlight all by itself. That's where a coach comes in. They're like the forest. A forest protects and nourishes - guiding us to grow and reach our goals.
Sometimes, having a coach is like having the best sunlight, soil, and water all at once.
Helping you grow tall and strong.
And that is exactly the topic of my next post, which will be published on Monday. Don't miss it.
We all need help: Not asking for costs a fortune...
Stay in motion,
your walking friend,
Daniel
PS: no bear in sight this time. But I know they're there. :-)
