đđżIf Youâve Been Journaling to âFigure Yourself Outâ and Still Feel Stuck, Hereâs Why.
#164 - Overthinking isnât the problem â disconnection is. Hereâs what helps you rebuild trust in your own instincts.
đđż 4 times a week from our farm in rural Transylvania, we publish The Fearless Youâa no-fluff newsletter for busy professionals over 40 who want to make clearer, healthier decisions in life and business.
Not the hustle-kind. The life-changing kind.
The kind that makes you exhale and say: âYes. That feels right.âTodayâs edition is shameless self-promotion :-)
You ever have one of those days where you sit down to journal?
Like me?
Coffee in hand, Spotify playlist humming. The cat is purring on the lap.
And you think, âOkay, this time Iâm gonna get to the bottom of thisâ?
Best intentions.
And then three pages later, all youâve managed to do is write circles around your doubt?
Yeah. Been there. Many times.
The modern world has sold us a powerful myth:
đ If I think hard enough, reflect deeply enough, analyze thoroughly enough⌠Iâll finally get clarity.
But let me tell you the quiet truth no one profits from:
You donât need more overthinking.
You need more reconnection.
Weâve been taught to live in our heads.
But clarity doesnât live there.
Clarity lives in your gut, your breath, your bodyâs rhythm, and your daily energy flow.
Hereâs whatâs really going on when journaling âisnât workingâ:
Youâre trying to solve a systemic misalignment with individual insight.
Youâre asking your mind to do what only your body + context can decide.
Youâre seeking certainty in a world that thrives on noise and options.
Hereâs a potential better way:
𪴠Instead of asking âWhatâs wrong with me?â, ask âWhatâs out of rhythm in my life?â
đ§ Instead of trying to fix a problem, try to observe a pattern.
đż Instead of analyzing more, reconnect with your instincts through actual decisions.
⨠This is what I teach inside the Regenerative FARMISH philosophy:
âYouâre not broken. But youâre trying to live a natural life in a tech-dominated world.â
You donât need to over-process every thought.
You need to trust yourself enough to act on what you already know.
(And yes, thereâs a way to rebuild that trust â step by step.)
Todayâs Takeaway:
If youâre stuck in a loop of reflection, the next right step isnât more journaling.
Itâs a simple, grounded decision made with your whole self in mind:
âď¸ What does my body say?
âď¸ What gives me energy?
âď¸ What is aligned with the life Iâm trying to build?
Pick one thing. Decide it regeneratively.
If this landed, good. Glad to hear.
Youâre not alone in this.
And youâre not late.
More soon. But for now, stay close to your compass.
To your freedom and health,
Daniel
P.S. Hereâs a beautiful spoken meditation that might help to build up strength. Try it.
