You ever look around and wonder:
âAm I still part of reality... or just some twisted social experiment?â
If so, youâre not crazy. Youâre paying attention.
This week, psychologist Dr. Roger McFillin published a must-read article:
đ
Quick rundown (so you donât have to click first): Roger argues that weâve drifted into an anti-human landscape. One where violence is a meme, truth is a mood, and âcontentâ replaces genuine experience.
The result? A population scrolling itself numb. While algorithms harvest attention and sell it back to us at a premium. Itâs less a conspiracy and more a slow, profitable corrosion of reality itself.
What the post impliesâand why we canât ignore it
While Roger zeroes in on the spectacle, letâs name the collateral damage that keeps me up at night:
The productification of our daughters
Platforms reward the commodity of appearance.
Teenage girls learn to curate, monetize, and perform femininity before theyâve even finished puberty.
Self-worth gets pegged to likes, follows, âsubscribes,â andâyesâcash.
The sedation of our sons
Record-low testosterone, record-high screen time.
Porn, instant dopamine loops, and messaging that confuses strength with toxicity.
Opt-out rates from school, sports, relationships, and real-world risks are skyrocketing.
A shrinking future for everyone
Fewer stable families. (and we all know what consequences that provokes!)
Less innovation (you donât build when youâre numbed out).
A feedback loop where each generation inherits a thinner slice of reality, and thinks thatâs normal.
Where you come in
Youâre a millennial parent. Or even wiser (đ¤Ł). But you remember childhood before the algorithms.
Now youâre watching your teens grow up in a feed that never ends.
What strange new ânormalsâ are you seeing?
Where do you draw the line between healthy adaptation and outright harm?
What winsâor lossesâhave you had trying to keep your kids (or grandchilds) grounded?
Hit reply and tell me your story. The more voices we gather, the clearer the path forward becomes.
This is why I write. This is why the Regenerative FARMISH Mindset exists.
Because the only way out isnât more noise, more control, or more productivity hacks. Itâs remembering what makes us human.
Freedom. Authenticity. Real relationships.
Acknowledging being part of Nature. The rhythm of seasons. Growing your food. Touching the Earth. Raising kids with courage and curiosity, not confusion.
This mindset is not a theory. Itâs a return. Back to roots. Back to strength.
Back to life itself.
If you feel this too, speak up. Say what you see. Letâs not go quietly into the scroll.
To your freedom and health,
Daniel
P.S. Even a one-sentence reply helps. Letâs start the conversation. I read every word!

We are bombarded with conflicting realities that have a common factor: They all lead to a funnel to sell you something that will fix your life.
We have to do the work to rewire our brains to select the reality we want to live in, and take actions to bring it about.
