Tech can’t override biology
No wild animal is sick from living wrong.
They simply live inside their DNA.
We stopped doing that around 1950. 🧬
And now we spend billions trying to tech our way back.
Sleep trackers. Peptide stacks. Cold plunge protocols.
Continuous glucose monitors for people who eat packaged food.
Recovery apps for people who never actually rest.
None of it is the problem.
But none of it is the answer either.
The answer is older than medicine.
Older than agriculture.
It is written in your biology - the same code that runs a wolf, an elk, a bear.
You are not a different kind of animal.
You are just an animal who forgot the instructions. 🐾
I see this clearly on the farm.
When soil is degraded, you can add inputs.
You can spray. You can measure. You can supplement.
But until you stop doing the thing that broke it — the soil does not heal.
Your body is the same.
The inputs can help at the margin.
But they cannot override the baseline.
Sleep before midnight.
Eat food that existed 10,000 years ago.
Move your body outside.
Stop eating when the sun goes down.
Not hacks. Not protocols.
The conditions your species requires to function. 🌱
Technology is very good at one thing:
making it comfortable to live against your biology for longer.
It buys you time.
It does not buy you health.
The question is not which supplement to add.
It is what you are doing that no animal in the wild would do.
That is where to look.
I write about this every week - the biology underneath the noise.
If that’s useful to you, this article goes much deeper. 📩
